2025 Country Christmas Best Decorated Contest

Our judges had an incredibly difficult time choosing winners for the 2025 Country Christmas Best Decorated Contest. Coaldale was filled with an amazing number of festive homes and businesses, and the outstanding quality and creativity of the displays made this year especially memorable.

 

Congratulations to our 7th Annual Coaldale Country Christmas Best Decorated Contest winners, and a heartfelt thank you to all participants for spreading holiday cheer throughout our community.

Please refer to the 2025 map below for a selection of light displays for your viewing pleasure. 

Make the Holiday Season brighter by lighting and decorating your home, yard and/or business. Become a 7th annual winner of our Country Christmas Best Decorated Contest!

This year 3 categories will be judged: 

  1. Best Small Display (Garden display, apartment/condo patio or deck display, window display)

  2. Best Large Display (Full yard/house display)

  3. Best Decorated Business

​

Judging will take place from outside the residence or business and viewed from the street only. Judges will not enter the property to view back or side yards.

​

Judging criteria will include:

  • unique design and creative use of lights and decorations  

  • storyline or theme   

  • display and placement of decorations, animated objects  

  • overall presentation
