Join Coaldale’s inaugural Winter Fest by hosting an event at the Civic Plaza! Community groups, organizations, and businesses are invited to create memorable experiences at the new Civic Plaza, featuring beautiful light displays previously part of Coaldale’s Winter Walk in the Park. Hosts will have access to the Concession Plaza, cozy outdoor fire pits, and the new outdoor skating rink. Fill out the Civic Plaza Host Application to request a date to help light up the season for our community.
Night of Lights
Friday, November 28 (2:30 - 9 p.m.)
Hosted by the Town of Coaldale, the 25th Annual Country Christmas Night of Lights will take place Friday, November 28.

Glow Skate with Kinsmen & Kinette Clubs of Coaldale
Saturday, December 13 (5:30 - 8 p.m.)
The Kinsmen & Kinettes will be joining forces with the Town of Coaldale again with a fan favourite, Glow Skate! The evening will include FREE hot dogs & smokies compliments of the Coaldale Food Market & Coaldale Inn! Join them for a glow skate with live music by Amy Allred, a DJ, wagon rides, hot dogs, candy canes, hot chocolate, fires and ice skating. Rumour has it Santa is expected to make an appearance as well!

Winter Fest Finale
Saturday, December 20 (Noon - 3 p.m.)
Join us for a festive all-ages finale to Coaldale Winter Fest. The event will feature Photos with Santa (Mr. & Mrs. Claus), Wagon Rides, Live music from Amy Allred sponsored by the Coaldale Chamber of Commerce, hot chocolate bar, smores and outdoor skating. More information coming soon.

3rd Coaldale Scouts

Join the 3rd Coaldale Scouts for hot chocolate, fires and ice skating.
Coaldale Real Estate Centre
Friday, December 5 (5:30 - 8 p.m.)
Come out and join Real Estate Centre, for hot chocolate, hot apple cider, marshmallows to roast, 2026 calendar giveaway and ice skating. Enjoy some skating and then warm up at the natural gas fire pits and roast a marshmallow (sticks will be provided) while sipping a hot beverage.
Coaldale Public Library
Saturday, December 6 (5:30 - 8 p.m.)
Join the Coaldale Public Library for Skating with Elsa, Wagon Rides, Free Pizza, Hot Chocolate and Smores. Take a break to warm up at one of the natural gas fire pits.
